Congress chief Kharge in Karnataka: 'BJP members call Modi a God … – msnNOW

Congress President Mallikariju Kharge, in a no holds barred attack against PM Modi and the BJP at an event in his home state Karnataka on Sunday, said the saffron party members “call Modi a God” and “it’s nothing but dictatorship”.
At the Aikyatha Samavesha event in Chitradurga, Mallikarjun Kharge attacked the state and central government over various issues.
‘Centre not filling vacant govt posts’
Hitting out at the centre over vacant posts in the government, Kharge said: “30 lakh govt posts are vacant, Modi ji isn’t filling them. Why? We must ask. 15 lakh jobs are reserved for SC-STs, if the poor get their benefits, they’ll(Centre)be thrown away. That’s why they’re not filling vacant posts.”
Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Maharastra are intelligent states: Kharge
Blaming the BJP and Bommai-led government for causing divisions in the southern state of Karnataka, the INC President said: “Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Maharastra are intelligent states which build the nation. What’s happening here in Karnataka? BJP and Bommai ruined our state in the name of caste and religion. That’s how they divided us.”
‘It is nothing but dictatorship’
Calling out the BJP for the alleged ‘dictatorial’ behaviour, Kharge said, “BJP members call Modi a God and treat him as God. It’s nothing but dictatorship. That needs to go away.”
