Mangaluru, Sep 23: With Mangaluru Dasara beginning from September 26, holidays have been declared for all primary and high school students from September 28 to October 16.
The additional four days holiday has been given keeping in view the grand Dasara.
Everyone should observe Gandhi Jayanthi compulsorily, it has been directed.

This order is restricted only to Mangaluru taluk, stated an order issued by the Department of Public Instruction.
 
 
Ice candy, dood candy then masala kadla in paper cone, kite flying, even some plays koraga, siddi, chakku chikku chatiny (till day i do not know the meaning) then some wedding play, cooking rice and tender mango pickle.🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️🖐

I fully agree with you. Sundays a soecial day, playing team match. Collecting 4 Anas each player. Also, collecting small ypes of fishes. Behind Motimahal there used be paddy fields. Making huts, cooking classes etc.
Flavs in those good old – childhood days when there was a holiday Ice Candywala was coming by cycle to sell Ice candy, Bella candy where we were playing cricket.
During this holidays We used to play cricket from morning to evening and come back late in the evening Where’s today’s generation busy with mobile and never disturb anyone.This is the difference between the 2 generation. Time is changing slowly but steadily.
