Spain extends gas price cap amid fears of total Russian gas cut-off
Spain will extend a gas price cap for heavy industries operating their own power plants, amid fears Russia could cut off all gas supply to Europe by land or sea, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said on Tuesday.
Bed Bath & Beyond names Laura Crossen as interim CFO
Crossen's base salary was raised by $200,000 and the compensation committee increased her target annual bonus opportunity to 70% of her modified base salary. The filing said the adjustments will only be effective for the period she serves as interim CFO.

Avesh Khan out of remainder of Asia Cup, Deepak Chahar drafted in
''Avesh has fever, and he has also got sinus related problems which has escalated post illness. FSSAI suspends licences of 15 food business operators for not displaying nutritional value
As per these regulations, food service establishments having central licence or outlets at 10 or more locations are required to mention the calorific value (in kcal per serving and serving size) against the food items displayed on the menu cards or boards or booklets. 
Biocon sells 5.4% stake in arm Syngene International
According to bulk deal data available with the BSE, Biocon, the promoter of Syngene International, sold a total of 21,789,164 shares, amounting to a 5.4 percent stake, in the company. 
India and China clear needle-free COVID-19 vaccines
India and China have cleared two needle-free Covid vaccine options, one a squirt in the nose and the other inhaled through the mouth. It's not clear how well the nasal version works. Bharat Biotech didn't immediately release results of its studies or say how soon the new option will roll out.

The Indian company which recently got listed on the NASDAQ and raised around Rs 55 crore is focusing on growing the Esports space in India. It has invested Rs 8 crore in building the new arena which will accommodate over 5,000 people.
Not wearing seat belt on rear seat will invite penalty: Nitin Gadkari
Gadkari said that the government will release a notification in the next three days detailing the penalty involved if a passenger fails to wear a seatbelt. He said, "previously there was a penalty for not wearing seatbelt for the driver and co-passenger only, but we have updated the law to include rear seat passengers as well.
No better face of Opposition than Nitish Kumar, says RJD’s Sharad Yadav
Bihar Chief Minister and JDU leader Nitish Kumar met Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Sharad Yadav in Delhi on September 6. After the meeting, Yadav said: “It is necessary that the opposition parties come together. There is no better face (of Opposition) than Nitish Kumar.”

Acid attack on 14-year-old girl, throat slit
A 14-year-old girl was attacked with acid and her throat was slit by an unknown person in Venkatachalam village of Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh. The accused has been taken into custody and a case has been registered under the POCSO Act, Vijaya Rao, SP, Nellore district, said on September 6.
